Ülevaade
Uurimisrühma fookuses on tervisega seonduvate, käitumuslike ja institutsionaalsete tegurite seosed erinevate majandusväljunditega, mis võivad mõjutada sotsiaalmajanduslikult jätkusuutlikku arengut. Eeskätt on teostatavate uuringute teemad seotud inimkapitali kasutamise tõhususe, sotsiaalmajandusliku kaasatuse ja ebavõrdsuse, vaimse tervise ja majanduslike väljundite seoste, kaasaegsete tehnoloogiate efektiivse rakendamise ning töökorralduse ja regulatsiooni küsimustega, sh kaasaegses interdistsiplinaarses käsitluses. Uuritakse ka kliimamuutusega seonduvaid jätkusuutliku arengu probleeme. Töö tulemused võimaldavad paremini mõista potentsiaalselt latentseid või alahinnatud tegureid, mis mõjutavad arengu ja heaolu dünaamikat ning inimkapitali ja kaasaegse tehnoloogia rakendamise efektiivsust majanduses.
Tähtsamad tulemused
2023. aastal väärib märkimist teadustegevus koostöös majandus- ja psühhiaatriateadlastega Helsinki, Aalto ja Tel Avivi ülikoolidest Euroopa Komisjonilt suurepärase lõpphinnangu saanud Horizon 2020 projekti „Individual Behaviour and Economic Performance: Methodological Challenges and Institutional Context“(IBEP, 2020-2023) raames, koordinaator TalTech, projekti juht Aaro Hazak.
