Ülevaade
Teadustöö on fokusseeritud kahe teadusvaldkonna - elektrivarustuse ja elektervalgustuse -arendamisele. Elektrivarustuse valdkonna teadustöö on fokusseeritud tarbijapoolse elektrisüsteemi paindlikkuse ennustamis- ja karakteriseerimismudelite uurimisele, energia kogukondade paindlikkuse suurendamisele, rakendades tehisintellekti energiavoogude juhtimiseks ja optimeerimiseks mikrovõrkudes, ning uudsete paindlikkusteenuste ja -toodete arendamisele. Samuti uuritakse tänavavalgustustaristu rakendamisvõimalusi rohetehnoloogiate (elektersõidukid, taastuvenergia jne) laialdasemaks integratsiooniks elektrisüsteemi. Metroloogia valdkonna teadustöö on fokusseeritud peamiselt elektervalgustuses ja tööstusseadmete diagnostikas oluliste mõõtemeetodite arendusele. Elektervalgustuses uuritakse uute valgustustehnoloogiate mõju inimesele ja keskkonnale (sh liiklusohutusele), töötatakse välja uusi valgustehnilisi mõõtemeetodeid, nt leedekraanide, valgusreostuse mõjude hindamiseks. Samuti uuritakse tööstusseadmete diagnostikaks sobivate mõõtemeetodite ja algoritme, et ennetada majanduslikult kulukaid rikkeid ja tõrkeid.
Tähtsamad tulemused
Olulisemate 2023. a tulemustena võib välja tuua: • uuriti uusi energiaühistutele sobivaid ärimudeleid ning arendati avatud tarkvaraplatvorm, mis tagab suurema mikrovõrkude suurema paindlikkuse, lihtsustab nende rajamist ning vähendab finantsriske. Arendatud platvormi rakendatakse kahel pilootalal Tartu linnas ja Pakri Tööstuspargis (projekt AR20013); • uuriti valgusreostuse mõju ning töötati välja valgusreostuse hindamiseks kaugseiremeetodid (projekt LEEAE21115).
