Ülevaade
Uurimisrühmal on kompetents keskkonnakeemias, keskkonnamikrobioloogias, keskkonnatehnoloogiate väljaarendamises, mullabioloogias. Tegevuse põhisuunad on:1. Kompetents jäätmete taaskasutustehnoloogiate arendamisel ja rakendamisel, (ravimijäägid reoveesettes ja nende lagundamise efektiivsus). 2. Keskkonnaseisundi hindamise metoodikate väljatöötamine, kasutades mulla mikrobioloogilisi ja elustikuparameetreid bioindikaatoritena.3. Põlevkivituha ja purustatud põlevkivi kasutamine hallitusevastase agendina.
Tähtsamad tulemused
2023. aasta olulisemate tulemustena võib nimetada:Uurimisrühm osutus edukaks Euroopa Komisjoni poolt rahastatava projekti „Sotsiaalseid muutusi võimaldavad proaktiivsed lähenemised“ rahastuse taotlemisel.Mari Ivask kaasautorsuses ilmus publikatsioon kõrgetasemelises teadusajakirjas Nature Communications.
