Overview
The goal of the R&D activity is to create theproof of concept of and develop the methodology for low-cost, fully portable flow cytometersbased on droplet microfluidics, which willallow field analysis through cognitive electronics system.Novel experimental droplet generation setupwith external sensor and flow control wasdesigned. The designed solution also includesthe creation and characterization of an innovative hardware and software solution formicropumps.
