Ülevaade
Uurimisrühma teadus- ja arendustegevus on suunatud elektrilise, peamiselt impedants-spektroskoopia (kuid mitte ainult) mõõtmislahendustele. See hõlmab vastavate instrumentide, signaalide ja signaalitöötluse arendamist ja uurimist erinevate rakenduste jaoks (mh testiks ja diagnostikaks, nt bio-, tervise- ja meditsiinitehnoloogiates, mikrofluidikas, metalli- ja elektroonikatööstustes ja mujal).

2024. aasta peamised tulemused: • Alustati projekti Tem-TA43 „Uudsed lahendused pehmete kudede kliiniliseks jälgimiseks“ ja selle kaudu käivitus põnev koostöö TÜ ja TÜ Kliinikumi tohtritega südamekirurgiaga seotud tehnoloogiate arendamiseks. • Loodi mitmeid põnevaid leiutuslikke lahendusi, nt 1) M. Metshein jt, EE patenditatolus P202400022, "Meetod ja seade IKG signaali kujutisel südametegevust iseloomustavate tunnuspunktide määramiseks PPG signaalil põhineval pulsilaine kujutiselt" 2) M. Metshein jt, EE patenditaotlus P202400006, "Meetod ja seade keha rasvkoe osakaalu hindamiseks".
