Overview
The Data Science Group is carrying out researchactivities substantially contribute to the call forprojects that pay attention to sustainable knowledge engineering, i.e., projects standing at thecrossroads of knowledge acquisition, explainableadded-value knowledge extraction, and proactivetimely decision making, e.g. Digital transformation of the society;healthcare information systems (adverseevents in hospitals, mining of patienttrajectory). Smart-environment: Internet of Things(IoT), intelligent transportation system,smart city, smart home.The main competences of the research group are: Data mining. Big data analytics. Data seriation /visualization. Ontology alignment/merging. Random data modelling.
