Ülevaade
Uurimisrühma tegevuse põhisuunaks on elektritoite kvaliteet (võrgupinge kvaliteet, sh pingetaseme ning pingekuju parameetrid, nende mõjutajad ja optimeerimine; vahelduvvoolumõõtmised ja mõõteandmete töötlemine; toitekvaliteedi mõju uurimine seadmete ja süsteemi talitlusele jm) ning elektromagnetiline ühilduvus (EMÜ) (seadmete ja süsteemide vastastikune EM-mõjutus, elektromagnetiline emissioon ja immuunsus; laiaribaline EM-väljade hindamine ja mõõtmine keskkonnas; mürade mõju seadmete ja süsteemide talitlusele jm).Elektritoite kvaliteedi valdkonnas on suureks väljakutseks EL energeetikadirektiividele vastavuse saavutamine, milleks tuleb tagada suure hulga pooljuhtmuundurite ühendamine jaotusvõrku, et liita võrguga päikesepaneelid, väiketuulikud jm. taastuvenergiatootjad. Selleks tuleb uurida jaotusvõrgu piire ja võimalusi, millega võrk suudab töötada võrgu teiste klientide või komponentide pingetingimuste rikkumiseta. Teema on otseselt seotud EMÜ valdkonnaga (nõuded seadmetele ja/või võrgu tugevdamiseks pingemoonutuste vastu) ning elektrikvaliteedi valdkonnaga (nõuded pingetaseme tagamiseks ja ülekoormuse vältimiseks võrgus).Elektromagnetilise ühilduvuse valdkonnas on uurimistöö seotud muuhulgas asjaoludega, kuidas ühildada erinevad tehnoloogilised lahendused toitesüsteemidesse (näiteks toiteliini kommunikatsioon ja võrkudesse ühendatud seadmed), kuidas tagada elektri- ja elektroonikaseadmete tööstuse toodangu vastavus EL EMÜ ja madalpingedirektiivis esitatud kriteeriumidele.
Tähtsamad tulemused
2023. a tulemused olid suunatud päikeseelektrijaamade elektromagnetiliste raadiosageduslike mürade uurimisele. Arendati välja mõõtevahendite koosseisud koha peal päikeseelektrijaamade paigaldistes EM-müratasemete seireks senisest tundlikumal ja detailsemal tasemel. Välja töötati mõõtemetoodika, et selgitada nt elektromagnetilise ühilduvuse seisukohast oluliste mõõtmiste läbiviimiseks EM-müratasemed.
