Ülevaade
Usaldusväärsete arvutisüsteemide keskuse uurimistöö põhisuunad hõlmavad laia teemade ringi digitaalsüsteemide (k.a. mitme- ja paljutuumalised süsteemid) projekteerimise, usaldusväärsuse, verifitseerimise ja testimise vallast. Peamised uurimissuunad aastal 2022 hõlmasid:• Uudsed 3D kiibitehnoloogiad (koostöö: Stanfordi ülikool);• Riistvara turve (koostöö: Delfti TÜ, LIRMM/Montpellier, Airbus, Frankfurt UAS);• Närvivõrkude riistvaralised kiirendid (koostöö: Mälardaleni Ülikool, Tartu Ülikool, Fraunhofer IKS); • Kihiülene usaldusväärsus sensorvõrkudes (koostöö: Testonica Lab OÜ);• Verifitseerimine (omaduste kaevandamine) (koostöö: EPFL/Lausanne, TU Hamburg, Saksa kosmosekeskus DLR);Keskus on mitmete üle-Euroopaliste aktsioonide eestvedaja. Hetkel osaletakse Horisont2020 Twinning projektis SAFEST. Samuti ollakse partneriks teaduse tippkeskuses EXCITE.
Tähtsamad tulemused
2023. aastal hõlmasid uurimisrühma olulisemad teadustulemused usaldusväärse tehisintellekti, riistvara turvalisuse ning autonoomsete sõidukite valdkondi. Esimesena nimetatud kahes valdkonnas avaldati mõlemas põhjalikud ülevaateartiklid ajakirjas ACM Computing Surveys. Riistvara turvalisuse vallas osaleti edukalt Prof. S. Pagliarini juhitud rahvusvahelise konsortsiumi töö koordineerimises ja lõpuni viimises EL Horisondi Twinning projekti SAFEST raames koostöös riistvara turvalisuse teaduskeskusega. Autonoomsete sõidukite valdkonnas käivitati uus NATO projekt "Autonoomsete droonide kasutamine tarkades lennuparvedes" ning jätkus osalemine EL Horisondi RIA projektis IRIS.
